Quest 64 has a lot of things going for it, not the least of which was battles take place in the actual field, with an octagon to separate the battle from everything else. I also liked that losing a battle didn’t mean losing experience or anything that’d been gained up to that point.

Lamias were my favorite foes to come across in Quest 64. They always dished out multi-hit attacks which hit more often than not, so they were great for farming defense. But, they could also take a lot of damage, so they were great for farming magical offense. The only problem I really had with them was that it was so rare to come across them.
