There’s something both simultaniously hilarious, and very “wrong” about Pinkie Pie holding a skull.

I used to be a Trekkie, but then I realized that Star Trek is fucking terrible. Literally everything about it is awful.

@Elric No joke, I actually did a college paper on the sexism in TOS and pulled it off. Although to be fair, at least some of the sexism in Trek is a result of executive interference. The pilot had Gene’s wife play Pike’s second in command and perform the task with competence and skill, no fanservice at all. And even in-show, Uhura was portrayed quite excellently for a female role at the time.
 
Still doesn’t quite clear the air on stuff like Turnabout Intruder or any of the uniforms. XD

That episode with the space Indians was both racist AND sexist.

By today’s standards, yes, some aspects of it are sexist. Try to look at it in the context of the late 1960s, however. It was incredibly progressive for the time.

Why does everyone like Star Trek so much? It’s sexist garbage.
