The first time, he was transformed into shadow and sealed under the ice. He breaks free, reconstitutes himself when he thinks no one can stop him, and gets blown to smithereens.
The second time, he is fully resurrected by “Grogar the Necromancer”, arrogantly thinks no one can stop him, and is obliterated.
Or he was ressurected.
That’s true, but it seemed like people were calling Sombra dead even before the showrunners said anything.
Them: Holy crap, Sombra was totally killed!
Me: Wha… ? Guys, he’s made of living shadow, and he was broken into distinct pieces. HIS HORN SURVIVED, and we saw that the horn was capable of regenerating and spreading on its own! This was not a definitive death. He can recover from this.
Them: He totes died, dayum.

Because show writers said he was dead somewhere on con panel or tweet. Fools actually believed them lol.
I’m praying for the best for her.
If she behaves she will be spared from a painfull end.
So she has to either quit when she can and have a second chance or at least imprisionment
OR she pisses off the heroines or Grogar and she will join Sombra and the Storm King in the afterlife….

The first time he was shattered into distinct pieces, with his horn definitely surviving. He was made of living shadow, he could regenerate from that with time. Still mystifies me why people immediately claimed he was dead.
But the second time? Yeah, he’s very clearly being vaporized. He’s dead.

I’m sure Allspark had to run it by a few of Hasbro’s censors to keep their TV-Y rating, and they were like, “Hmmmm, uhhhhhh… hmmm, yeah. Sure, go with it. But if we get angry parents calling us, the ep is getting censored.”
Cause you can see Sombra’s MUSCLES in that bottom picture!
