Eh, they’ve said outright what they were going for, and I think they managed to stitch together the voice actors’ ideas into a coherent and amusing plot. Fitting in everypony would’ve been just too much.
That said, there really has to be more Cloudchaser and Flitter this season. And another appearance by Molly, Azure Velour, and Flashdancer; Sunlight Spring, and Lilac Sky; and Amira and Haakim. For the show to end with nothing more of them would be very sad.
