Pearl lost her memory as a filly and was adopted by an Earth pony couple.
Ever since she was a filly, she had extremely powerful and uncontrollable magic.
The necklace she wears was a birthday gift from her adoptive parents. It’s her most treasured possession and she never takes it off.
The ring on her horn was given to her by Twilight and Starlight. It helps keep her incredibly destructive magic in check.
Pearl is terrified of fire.
