Judging how student/M6 interactions have gone in the past, the studebts seem to be the common sense genius abd the mane pony gets handed the idiot ball. Like how bad Non Complete Clause was by doing this. I’d rather not the same happen. And I’d rather see actual Rarity relationships. You knkw, Coco, Sweetie Belle, Sassy, maybe a Rarity/Fluttershy since it has felt like ages. Not this. I think that holds true to what I said. I’ve been a part of this show for 9 years because of Rarity not the students. I don’t want them pushing Rarity out of the way or handing her the idiot ball, which it very much feels like.

The CMC are at least directly related to M6 characters. With the students I feel all they do is hog spotlight. This is the final season. We should be putting emphasis on characters that matter. I suppose you could say “They need roon to grow” but in the last season? No way. We should be focusing on the characters who meant something for the past decade, who built the show from the ground up and were responsible for growing the community. The students just feel like empty cardboard charactets designed to fit a gimmick already dated. I really find it a waste to not be trying to make each episode of the final season something with the same weight as Perfect Pear for the show.

I felt the same way about the CMC at first. Their early episodes weren’t as fun for me as those of the Mane Six, but slowly they won me over.

Great, another precious song slot of the final season wasted with the students. Talk about throwing pearls before swine.
