I had originally intended to finish and upload this at the beginning of the month for May Day. But I was a lazy fuck and I didn’t. Then the anniversary of the Haymarket Riot came and went. Then Marx’s birthday, and a bunch of other things that happened in May. So I guess I’m putting this out towards the end of the month as a… General observance of everything socialist in May? Works for me.
 
Anyways, the title (The Death of our Hometown) is a reference to the Bruce Springsteen song Death To Our Hometown which sort of acted as the inspiration more or less. I just needed to decide when to do it.
 
So with the month where pagan euphoria and revolutionary activity comes to a close… I guess get to work reviving the Four Hour Day movement? Lord knows how many people these days in anything adjacent to animation has made crunch far too much the norm.
