It was the perfect frame for the comic’s beginning. I’ve been working on this script for about a week. It was a good script, stupid, but I liked the jokes in it. However, it was too stupid. And then I canceled it and continued to come up with a second version of the script on another topic. It was a very good script where every character now had an age category, references to books, conflicts and thoughts that could please many people, even adults. And it took another week. But the work resembled pieces of ideas that were sealed by logic and adequate events, but had an inexplicable space between. It was a house in which was empty and lonely. Then I sat down for the third version. It was nonsense, it was stupid, but it contained the personality of the characters and the world that now had its history. It was fun, there was an action, a drama, jokes, many would like it! But .. I saw that now I have three versions that could make you laugh and could make you think, but not one of them work for some reason. And I gave up, it didn’t inspire me anymore. After a fortnight of work, the future comic strip was canceled.Suddenly, yesterday I started reading one fanfic and it reminded me - these characters have families! It’s not just soulless characters with whom I can do whatever I want. They had a past, they were once born. I can not just shove them into nonsense and pretend everything is fine, they can not say all that I want or draw their personalities from someone else! I was ashamed of such treatment with someone’s life. And for one final day I got a stuffing for my cake and all three versions of the script are now united together! It was a magical moment, I breathed out with relief, my inner writer was saved! I have the material and I can draw with confidence. Because now these characters are real and they can prove it in the comic. So the first frame came to my mind absolutely by accident, but so naturally~I talk.. a lot .. I can’t do that every page, can I?..
