Sorry, but to me Princess Cadence is Celestia’s glorious hawkgirl.
 
I always kinda felt Rarity might work for the Lion myself as they are basically second-best looking in terms of loyalist marines. Besides, the Lion himself was certainly no slouch in the looks department. especially compared to some of his siblings.
 
And hey, just means she’s taking a 10,000 year nap. Someone REALLY should wake her up honestly, the Equestrian Imperium’s KINDA not going well right now.
 
…Plus everyone kinda keeps forgetting the dark angels exist around here for some reason.

Well, as a servant of the God-Empress Celestia, she is caught in endless battle against the unfashionable. Clearly that red paint belongs to a nest of heretics who were about to commit some form of blaspheme! Don’t worry, though: she stomped them out in time :)

Assuming celestia is the God-empress in this scenario, It makes sense for equestrian Adeptus Astartes to be female.

There were so many options… but you had to shit on both fandoms by choosing space marines.  
You should of:  
Sisters of Battle  
Sisters of Silence  
Inquisition  
Daemons of Slaanesh  
Eldar something  
Harlequins  
Dark Eldar’s Wych  
T’au something  
Necrons something
 
But you had to pick a faction that is strictly male due to the biological constraints of the human body.

I just felt the bright blue armor of the Ultramarines somehow fit Rarity better from an aesthetic standpoint. I aligns pretty closely with her overarching color scheme.

Nah, Rarity’s a loyalist to Empress Celestia ;)  
Obviously, this would mean sporting the fabulous blue armor of the Ultramarines. I mean, there are no others fashionable enough within the Empress’ ranks to suite her tasts, no? XD

I feel like Rarity would have more likely been an Emperors Children marine. Though, would have been a loyalist and got slaughtered during the Istvaan culls.
