They technically didn’t do anything that harmed anyone aside from maybe putting some psychological strain on themselves and one other person.

No idea where my mind was, on that one.
Even had the response of “wait for the magical lesbian spawn”, before I thought something was off, and I reread that.
I mean, it took someone else suggesting it for her to try just leaving the festival. I can’t imagine her actually getting to that point
Yikes. Suddenly my mind is going to even darker places.
What if, emotionally broken after years of looping, Sunset takes the only way out left to her? Embarking on a metaphysical odyssey through the afterlife, only to wake up alive the next day, forever changed by the experience?
I can understand why they didn’t write that story for the special, but fanfic writers need to get busy.
It was a lucky shot that Sunset solved the problem soon. Imagine Sunset finally snapping and commiting robberies with not a friggin care out of sheer boredom and dispair for the whole thing because after all all the damage will be undone by the time the next morning comes…..and then turns out that was the exact time postcrush got their “perfect concert”, making it unable to undo Sunset’s mistakes.
My interpretation was that she was close enough to it the first time it was activated that she got “registered” as one of the loopers.
Come to that, why did Sunset notice she was looping? No-one else did. Did I miss an explanation?

In fact, this time the villains weren’t really all that malicious. Heck it could be argued that they caused more damage to themselves than other people whose names are not Sunset Shimmer, and they really didn’t go on their way to harm someone at least until they got discovered, and even then rather than go into violent mode they just used a relatively pacific way to keep them away.
