I recall the drama over the first film which while was best written off as a copy of the first two episodes. It’s mostly because we went from something fun to a joke that copied high school tropes. These kinds of shows just paint a false image of high school causing people to get hyped to get to only to be clobbered.
These days I don’t think it deserved the drama save for the first film and I wish it could have had better support.
@Spitler
Back in 2013 I posted this on Reddit, but I was a little too late on the Hasbro hate bandwagon so I got downvoted to hell. I deleted the post and forgot about it.
That was until today, when I stumbled upon this on my hard drive… so yeah.
@sumbozo
New hotness: same gif, but showing Disney throwing Galaxy’s Edge instead.
;)

I feel bad for your downvotes XD
“What are you talking about?–”
Hasbro throws Sci-twi next.
“… I’d much rather you throw a second Sunset at me.”
“Ha, ha, ha, there is only one Sunset.”
“… Fine,” He turned away.
“But we have Starlight,” On that Hasbro throws it smack right at the back of the head.
