Her right foot got injured.  
However, the xray scene showed her left foot being stepped on, then back to her right foot next scene as she is unable to walk with her right foot properly.

There was a fantasy series of books a friend of mine was really into. And one of the things he explained was how magic always had a draw back. I.e. all the soldiers had endowments of strength, but the only way to gain the strength is to take it from someone else, and that person had to stay alive; otherwise the soldier loses the extra strength. Every soldier would have 10 endowments, so there were buildings full of people laying in beds being cared for because they didn’t have their strength to take care of themselves.  
But the soldiers would always show off by lifting full-grown cattle, which they could easily lift a cow, but their bones weren’t stronger, so they’d snap their arms in half when trying to lift the cows.
