If that happened, he probably would have destroyed the other villains for betraying him, and I don’t think we should put to much stock into that. At this point anyway. On the other hand, it’s entirely likely thatthe villains are using the bell after learning how to unlock its power.
That’s because they were, most likely to throw the audience off from deducing how the finale will play out.
But question this, what if they can’t use magic because they already transferred their magic to Twilight hence why they didn’t shield themselves and why they’re with Discord and the Mane 5 trying to hold that debris together. They might’ve transferred their power to Twilight already but in a different way than Twilight’s Kingdom hence why they still have their cutie marks and glowing manes.

Only one likely to die at this point is Grogar.
Why would you agree on something that isn’t remotely possible?
Hint: It’s guaranteed to be one of the villains.
I’ve heard of Police are Useless and Adults are Useless, but never Authority :/
I think it’s going to end in a big bad ensemble between Grogar and the Unreformed Three, with one of the parties coming out on top. I doubt Grogar’s going to be reformed, the other three however, are more likely to do so if their epiphany at the end of Frenemies is anything to go on.
Okay let’s not get crazy about reforming Grogar. Just… no… for so many reasons… no.
