If my memory and the info I was told is/was correct, it’s that the writer realized that Jet was too likeable and was shocked that people liked him over Delta.

Sorry I haven’t read the full thread nor follow all the threads of these comics. If it’s too frustrating remember to take some time off the web.
>it was the night of drunken sex when she needed to be up early in the morning to make it to her once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
And so she took the decision of drinking too much while she knew that the next day it was important. It’s the same problem as before, a choice that lead to results that were not wanted even the said person was conscious of what could happen.
@softland
I’m getting tired of repeating myself. The pregnancy isn’t what screwed her, it was the night of drunken sex when she needed to be up early in the morning to make it to her once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We can speculate endlessly about why she kept the kid, that decision has never been explored in the comic, but it’s not relevant to why she wasn’t able to go to EQSA.

>Jet took everything else away from her to satisfy his own selfish desires.
Seems that birth control doesn’t exist in that dimensions, even tho magic and rocket science exist.
Jet did a dick move. Delta made the decision of keeping the baby, a decision that she regrets.
@Background Pony #A2E8
Delta back-stabbed him by ignoring his feelings and desires for her own sake, so Jet back-stabbed her by making her miss an appointment. (Which is stupid because what kind of appointment has no option for changing date? What about accidents and sickness?)
So yeah they both deserve each other. (Poor Apogee though…)
@Delphince @Background Pony #F64A
Look at all this victim blaming going on here. There is NO justification for what Jet did, Delta has the right to live her own life and it is not up to Jet to decide for her what that life is going to be. That’s why even now she turns down his offers and refuses to leave her trailer, because it’s the only amount of control over her life she has now after Jet took everything else away from her to satisfy his own selfish desires.
@Delphince
Yea, so many people claim that Jet was in the wrong…well maybe he wouldn’t have pulled this shit if fucking Delta have used her fucking brain…
Even if Jet is completely responsible for pulling a dick move (literally) and costing Delta her job, I stand by my earlier assessment that she backed him in a corner. Choosing work over family, abandoning a functional relationship for an opportunity without discussion; those things are socially recognized as deplorable behavior. It appears she dropped this on Jet with no consideration for whether he’d be willing to go with her.
Maybe she was always openly committed to a relationship of convenience and he refused to believe it. A lot of information is missing, but they certainly seemed like a match worth keeping.

Actually what happened in the original is that this night of drunken sex caused her to oversleep and miss her trip, forever costing her the EQSA opportunity. Her getting pregnant afterwards was a complete accident, though certainly one Jet welcomed. I assume that hasn’t changed in this one, considering she still said that she would be picked up “tomorrow.”
@clopficsinthecomments
It’s possible that she just wanted to be a mom when she found out she was pregnant and willingly stayed with Jet. However, there could have been a couple of things that inhibited her from pursuing a career at EQSA even if she wanted to go there. For instance, there could be some type of well-established policy pregnancy and the timing of it is concerned (though admittedly that is unlikely). What is far more likely and feasible, though, is that even if she wanted to work at EQSA and had absolutely no plans to remain with Jet, the fact that she was going to have a child in the future and the prospect of having to raise that child on her own could have seen like an impossible feat, especially for someone so young who is just getting their start in life. Thus, her hoof could have been forced and lead her to relinquish her dream and accept a life with Jet.
Even if she was at some point in her time with Jet afterwards happy, she still could have had to acquiesce her dream; which would make a lot of sense and explain why she was so upset when she learned years later that Jet had intentionally gotten her pregnant to prevent her from leaving him. I mean, if her dream was still very possible to attain without much resistance regardless of having a child, why would Jet have chosen to get her pregnant with that goal in mind.
Some of the rocket commentary between Apo and Del, the law lady, some basic backstory.
Edited because: little yellow pony
Such as?
I did notice that this line of pages lacks some content that showed up in the original line.
Did you ever post the reason for it than?

Oof.

Ooof
Sorry than, my memory is more than a little trash.
you’re very wrong

@Ping_chan
Ah, huh… Alright then.
Delta Vee’s junkyard is getting published.
Yep.
She probably only intended to get slightly buzzed, and was naive enough to trust Jet not to get her to drink more than that.
