Godi24 wasn’t talking about the sloppiness, but the style.
It’s a really sloppy product. That’s what the problem is.
What’s wrong with a style that’s noticeably closer to the look of the actual show than what we get from the other comics? Just because it’s common in fanart doesn’t mean the official product can’t do it too.

I don’t mind the flat colored art-style. Let’s all remember this is still a little kids comic.
well, I didn’t recognize the colorful image nor the style, it’s different. The colorful image looks nothing like its previous ones. An official comic does not have that style, there is an error. It looks like it was made by a fan.

I thought this was fan-made. It really looks sloppy.
Also wingless Rumble in the bottom panel. And the inking on Thunderlane in panel 4 is a totally different style than every other character in every other panel. This whole page is a mess.

Could be a last minute addition though I agree with that being show-vector dropped in. I don’t think RD is a major presence of the story and someone upstream may have said “Needs more RD on this page!” to understand why the focus is shifting to Rumble/Scoots and the Wonderbolts.

(Also, Dash in panels 1 and 5 doesn’t look drawn. She looks copypasted from screenshots. Not a good sign for the art quality of this issue.)
