actually, I saw them getting angry and harassing because their favorite fluttercord ship was not fulfilled nor anything like that. that’s why they started insulting jim. That is why one of the fans said this ``if they do not confirm that it is canon, I continue to assume that they are canon’’.

The concept of picking a fictional character as an ideal wife or husband wouldn’t be so bad, if some people didn’t trespass the lines of good sense. Again… this is fantasy realm, not reality, folks…

I myself am a passionate shipper, but hey… let’s keep in our minds that they are cartoon characters, products of fantasy. If such people don’t like something, why didn’t they bring pen and pencils and create their own Alternate Universes, instead of menacing people like some ill-brained lunatics?

I noticed people on 4chan were pissed that Cozy Glow was stoned and not redeemed and they started to blame Jim in the threads. I think there might be also some Fluttershy and Pinkie fans who waifu her and they were mad that they ended up with some guys.

People were upset with the finale. It’s understandable and okay to be upset with the show ending, not liking the finale, not liking that a ship you dislike becoming canon, or not liking that the ship you like didn’t become canon. What is not okay is to harass the people working on the show for it.

I don’t know. I like the ship and even I still just see this as platonic. At best it’s a tease but it’s not really much of an outright confirmation to me. And I’m okay with that.
 
I never really wanted ship confirmations in the show. I just got lucky that some of the ones I liked did but even then, they were kinda pushing it. I would have been the happiest if no ships got confirmed. But hey, that’s not gonna stop fan content in the long run so I’m not going to gripe too much about that.

I know things can appear ambiguous, but why have Fluttershy jumping outside Discord’s dimension, with him giving her a lunch bag, if the creators didn’t want to give us romantic vibes?  
Why not having Fluttershy enter the room normally, and have Discord appear for a brief greeting in a neutral stance? There wouldn’t have been nothing unusual in that.
 
Remember it’s the last episode, they wanted to give hints for the future questions they hadn’t time to show.

Ok OK just calm down. If you want Fluttershy to just spend her entire life being a platonic roomate of Discord and abandon her personal need to have a family, fall in love and get married then help yourself. People who know how life work will have a different opinion. And fans want to think that Fluttershy has a happy ending.
