Yeah. Cycles is the engine that actually approximates actual light interacting with objects, but it slower. Eevee works more like a modern game engine, so it isn’t as physically accurate (and usually not as good looking) but is massively faster.
The cycles image on the left took about 28 minutes to render, because it is at a stupidly high resolution. But for comparison, the image on the right took Eevee a minute and a half to render at the same resolution.
So which one you use depends on what you are doing and how you want it to look.
