Description

I’m really fond of the new MLP show. I used to watch the original series as a little girl and I’ve also collected the toys (my cousin inherited them later, though). I loved ponies as a wee little Tanka and it makes me happy that the younger generation of kids gets to enjoy them too. In a new, different form, but oh man, what a perfect form it is!
It seems like the creators of the show actually have fun writing for their characters; they are all so lovable, plus the animation is like candy to the eye, the soundtrack is catchy, and the humor witty. It’s so rare to find all those qualities in a cartoon nowadays. The show is not…dumb, you know. I mean, it is still a silly girly cartoon, but it is so in the most charming way possible. It’s the type of a cartoon I wish my future kids would watch.

…So here, have a ponified Griffith from Berserk. Doodled him up this week during thesis review seminar, then inked him during conversation class. I slapped some flat colours and a gradient over him yesterday, and, well. Yes.
Herein, I declare myself a disgrace to the Berserk fandom, as it seems like every fanart I come up with ends up being of a rather questionable nature.

Edit: DA apparently won’t let me link to the files directly, since my sketch blog is set to ‘mature content’. I’m posting the links to the whole logs instead:

The lineart of this submission + some more Berserk ponies because destroying one classical manga character at a time is not enough: [link]
