Though, I sometimes use Intelligence and Wisdom as two seperate things.
Twilight: High Intelligence, but low Wisdom
Applejack: Middle-ish Intelligence, High Wisdom
But I’ve always thought of Derpy as a genuine airhead with a big heart.

I’d say that she’s probably 2nd most intelligent behind Twilight, but that’s mostly because she’s the one with the most common sense (even if she does tend to lose it on occasion).
Applejack is pretty smart, just not as mathematically-minded as Big Mac.

I like to think Derpy is about average intelligence. She’s just an average pony. She is pretty content with her career, with her daughter, with her life.
Especially for Big Mac. He does have that knowledge of “Fancy Mathematics” after all. And it was said that he’s the one who actually manages the business affairs of Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack just bucks trees and sells the apples.
thing to take off. As for Mac, who do you thing handles the thinking half of Sweet Apple Acres? The artificial selection for the crops, the land ordinances, the water distribution, the taxes? Compensating for all the stupid decisions his family makes? If Mac wasn’t chained to that sinking ship, he’d be rich.
