I know it’s just a merger, but the merger would have eOne strengthen Allspark with the Family Brands division, not absorb into it.
 
Besides, I would say the same to Disney haters regarding the buyout of 21CF by them.

This deserves to be in the “images that precede unfortunate events” category and here’s why.
 
At first I thought it was going to make the Allspark brand stronger with eOne.
 
Now, I was wrong. Allspark was murdered by and absorbed into eOne. All of the Allspark crew has been fired. Stephen Davis, Haven Alexander, Kate Crownover, Melissa Flores, Therese Trujillo, Colleen McAllister, Paul Strickland and Greg Mooradian. And the only survivors in this slaughter is a film executive named Ryan Jones (right before he went to Universal Pictures), Emily Thompson and Mikiel Houser. The rest are replaced with people who don’t know what Hasbro was. Especially Darren Throop and Olivier Dumont.
 
And now that eOne has been absorbed into Allspark, all memories have been wiped out from everyone’s memories. People believing eOne was always part of Hasbro, even before the acquisition.
 
All thanks to Peppa Pig, non-family Brands like Designated Survivor, Grey’s Anatomy, Nurses, Trailer Park Boys are now owned by Hasbro because of eOne.
 
They should have learned from Disney by separating Allspark from eOne or at least make the former a subsidiary of the latter for Hasbro brands. Because, even though people hate Disney, at least unlike Hasbro, they didn’t disown 20th Century Fox despite its name change.
 
And Disney knows that Alien and Deadpool aren’t Disney brands, so they put it in the adult side of Disney under ABC, FX and TCS. Hasbro on the other hand just shoves EVERYTHING under eOne and doesn’t separate.

I am just saying that Hasbro is becoming “like” Disney by eating up smaller brands. If nothing could stop Hasbro or Disney from becoming too dominant, we might end up being trapped in a corporation, like Buy n Large from Wall-E.
