Actually, I was impressed that Spike had at least two scenes with the CMCs at a club, and they didn’t bat an eye that a boy was there. Not bad.
 
Maybe it’s because he’s a dragon. It might be different if it’s, say, a colt from their classroom.

We managed to get all the way through a Spike and CMC episode with zero shipping hints, disappointed.

Honestly, I could even see that as an episode.

Spike wants to join the CMC for an adventure, but they do not like the idea of allowing a boy into their club. Thus, Spike must disguise himself as Spikella (supposedly a cousin of himself from the big city) to infiltrate the CMC’s hideout.
 
Maybe the CMC could have his embarassing diary or something that he must take back, too.
