Another hour has passed for the aptly named “Cozy Clock” and that meant another round of spanks signifying the turn of that hour.  
The clock itself was of a rather peculier and somewhat amusing design: It featured Cozy Glow laying on the lap of the former Princess Celestia who sat on a luxurious looking chair on top of the clock itself with one hoof holding the wooden filly down and another high up in the air, ready to strike her bottom, which it automatically did every hour and when it did, the filly sculpture would open it’s little mouth and let out a panicked “Golly!”  
The hourly spankings lasted about a minute with around fourty spanks being delivered overall (although some creatures swear it sometimes goes on longer).  
The original clock was first made to commamerate the defeat of the Legion of Doom and placed whithin one of the widely used studying rooms of the School of Friendship, but it’s popularity garnered a demand for similar clocks and as such, many households have their own Cozy Clocks that function the same (the spankings can be configured with these).  
One thing most creatures didn’t know about the original clock, however was that it actually was the real Cozy Glow.  
The princesses have decided to essentially turn her into the clock and enchant her with a few other spells.  
Whenever the wooden Celestia figure spanks Cozy, she feels it and it is quite painfull due to an enchantment.  
Another enchantment makes every spanking feel fresh and not just another hourly continuation making sure that Cozy Glow can never fully get used to them.  
Of course, the princesses kept this secret from most. They didn’t want a wave of sympathy for the filly as they got more then enough from her sentence to Tartarus and her following petrification. They didn’t want to be pressured into releasing her just yet, after all.  
So she stayed as a clock, getting her hourly spankings and amusing all with her “Golly!” shouts.  
Some of the younger students often made fun of her, which Principle Starlight didn’t mind too much. Weather or not she knows about the truth of the clock is unknown.  
Another enchantment allows Cozy to hear the outside world so she knows about the students mocking her, but theres nothing she can do about it or her spankings.  
How she’s handling her situation remains a mystery, but it can be assumed that not very well.  
Weather or not the princesses wish to end this particular punishment any time soon remains a mystery.  
It is unlikely that they’ll end it just yet,however because that would also involve reforming her and unlike Starlight Glimmer and Discord, she has no real strategic value in doing so with her being just a normal filly and as such, not worth the effort.  
Because Cozy Glow was right about one thing: friendship is power.  
And there is no extra power to be had in befriending her.

Ah I see, a very amusing and painfull punishment indeed. I could imagine her being a nice clock for Twilight or a museum piece or being placed in one of the rooms of the friendship school.

Should have turned Cozy into a pull-string doll that says “I’m sorry”, or maybe an automata clock that spanks her every hour
