@Background Pony #27CE
There’s five of them total, each with slight differences in personality and physical appearance. There’s the leader who takes their job as temple guardians seriously, the friendly one who just really enjoys what they do, the overly helpful boring one who just wants to help out her friends, the mean one who enjoys the dark aspects of their job a little too much, and the shy one who’d rather not attack trespassers but she has a job to do :P
Me just exploring the pyramid: Huh. These are some strange looking ponies. I’ve never seen anything like it.
(looks at one of the ponies) Me: And they all look alike too. Some almost look as if they can come to life…
pfffft, nah, that’s ridiculous! Living hieroglyphs, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever said! laughs
Random voice: You may think it’s a joke now, but soon you’ll see what dangers await you, intruder.evil laugh
Me: …..The heck was that?? Ehh, it’s probably just my imagination. (Proceeds to explore the pyramid)
@Badumsquish
Then you made a perfect choice! You give more life to characters there never really got a chance to shine. ^^ Her style reminds me of my own sphinx oc, just where the hair cover more her eyes. :3

Now, she has clones :P

We come out the walls!!!
I’m not. I just know of Bridget from the memes XD
Didn’t know you were a Guilty Gear fan. Either that or I forgot.
They’re all traps in the literal sense, but one potentially is a trap in the Bridget sense :P
@Bluesliver The sphinxlover
:D
@OneSpooky
They enjoy their jobs! :D

Both how? Or are you referring to just the definition of both traps :U
Agreed and pretty interesting ones too.
@Red-Supernova
@Power-Up&Sky-Blue
Pretty much. They’re among the coolest ideas for an enemy I’ve ever seen in a game :D
@Space Pirate
It might cause futa flu (nsfw) :P
@JP
They don’t care. They got a boring and thankless job. They gotta do something to pass the time :P
@Bluesliver The sphinxlover
I ripped her design from this character:
I wanted to use a design from the show that only appeared in a painting :D
@Blissey1
They don’t. It just briefly ominously glows when they peel themselves off the walls :D
@Background Pony #A9A3
I swear, that has to be one of the most beautiful-looking, gorgeous, and inspired games to ever be terrible XD
@Background Pony #153A
Not the Sphinx. These ones appear in a different tomb that’s all kinds of cursed. The same one where she lives :D
@Dirty Bit
Technically it’s sort of both XD
I’m disappointed such a unique enemy couldn’t be battled multiple times, even after clearing the level you found them in.
Then you best know or be with someone who knows PSI Healing A.

There were also living hieroglyph enemies in Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
You know, the most disappointing Paper Mario game.
