I think some fans just want to experiment with alternative skin tones, it doesn’t necessarily always mean that.

This is an image from the comics. Dash is responding to a normal event in a person’s life, a typical kind of frustration people sometimes experience. She’ll work through it and be feeling positive again by the end of the comic.
Not everything here is sad.

Yeah, this is a pretty tame image, taken directly from the comics, (though recolored) so there’s no reason to get so bent over it, and claim this is somehow proof the fanbase is “toxic.”

Mind if I ask, what does that have to do with his recoloration of Dash?
So I spend my time filtering and removing the unlikely fanarts.
I’m starting to think that the MLP community is one of the most toxic that exists.
