Princess Cadance aged differently from Celestia and Luna, because she is an ascended alicorn who was born a pegasus while the royal sisters are born alicorns. As such Cadance aged normally, something that could been seen as well because of the flashback Twilight had.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

It’s funny cos just yesterday or so I was headcanoning about alicorn lifespans and basically what I was thinking at one point was that alicorns reach adolescense at a reduced pace or something? I didn’t actually say it on the chat, though. It’d only raise more questions.
 
So yeah kinda like Spike the so-called-baby dragon.
