I actually do like discord because hes a asshole but a funny one, speaking of where and back again him and fluttershy do have a well written friendship but u can’t talk about how to write good redemption arcs with a discord avi.

It’s about the build-up, the changelings finally found a way to have food while in peace with ponies, which was Chrysalis’ goal since Season 2, there was no logical reason for her to deny that other than her pride of being wrong getting the best of her.

I actually watched this episode right after watching Starlight’s reforming episode (cant remember the season). This same situation and pose between Starlight and Chrysalis is what happens between Starlight and Twilight.
Only Starlight accepts help while Chrysalis doesnt. So Starlight reforms and makes real friends, while Chrysalis isolates herself and makes up
