No, not really. The key thing here is not the kissing and nuzzling so much as Tempest denying what is obviously going on, which is that she’s developing a relationship with Thistle. That’s not really the mark of a healthy adult (and, again, was all I was joking about in the first place–that Tempest denies, denies, denies that she’s in a relationship, then immediately turns around and starts acting exactly like she’s in a relationship).
Or just like every healthy adult who enjoys sex, needs physical affection and found someone who is attracted to her.
First of all, I was just kidding around based on the other comment. Second, not two pages back Tempest straight-up tells Thistle that they’re “just friends”–only to immediately start making out with her like a teenager who just discovered kissing. Folks might be having sex without thinking about marriage, but they’re not having sex while pretending they’re not in a relationship…not without deluding themselves, anyway, which is definitely what Tempest is doing.
Tempest likes her and even more or less said so. Tempest just doesn’t want to start a family, which is understandable considering her past and the fact that she only knows Thistle and Lulu for about a week. I mean most people who’re dating eachother probably have sex long before they make any serious wedding plans. She told Thistle and Thistle is ok with the current situation, although she obviously hopes for her and Tempest becoming an item in the long run.
Well, yeah! They are horses! ;)
Next you’ll tell me that kissing and licking each other’s necks is something that totally not lesbian mares do with each other all the time!
