You gave me nostalgia. I did find out right now that it had a moment like this. That wasn’t my intention!

It’s called H2O. It’s a show about three teenage girls who accidentally ended up giving each of them a unique power over water. One has hydrokinesis, one can boil water with her mind, and I forget what the third one can do. However, the pool also made it so that they turn into mermaids whenever they get wet with even a single drop of water being enough to trigger the transformation with no way for them to prevent it.
 
So they have to live their normal lives while doing everything they can to prevent people from finding out what happened.

This reminds me of a tv show from several years ago.
