I know, plus Rare and Dash have gotten much more friendly had moments too, particularly since Sonic Rainboom.
I get it :)
To me it always seemed like the show implied that the other five knew each other but weren´t really friends with all of them before Twi showed up and the whole Nightmare Moon thing happend.
We´ve seen plenty of times like RD being frustrated with Shy to become supportive of her or from being annoyed by Pinkie to accept her or from AJ and Rarity from fighting due their differences to see them as advnatages and so on.

I get what you’re saying.
They were still kind of helping one another in that scene though. Dash is just impatient, like when she when to go watch butterflies with flutters.
You’re right that it has improved though
Well, in Swarm of the Century, the weren’t exactly the best of buddies. Just like with Aj, their friendship improved over time.
Maybe they did, this was pretty long ago in terms of the show. Their friendship certainly wasn’t as strong as it is now.
I think that too. It just kind of irks me to see it written as if they hate each other like this.
I think they’re pretty close actually. I’m glad season 3 provided more moments of their friendship.
At the rate this story’s going (the actual fic, not this.) that’s at least more than two years away.
