The problem with the horse meat was less that it was horse meat, and more that they lied, and the horses were under medication, which is not safe for humans.
@Sonlirain
The problem is that you are buying something labeled beef but are getting horse meat.
I also though that it was odd that they were adding horse to beef considering the prices.
Anyway beef prices have drooped so that means cheap meat for me. :)
Awww, the poor britians found some horse meat in their mass produced food. Come over here to America where we actually have laws that let X amount of bug bodies and rat feces into our candy bars. PLus god only knows what the USDA lets people get away with calling “meat”. Wussies.
Wait… now that i think of it… shouldn’t it be the other way?
You know adding beef to horse meat instead of adding horse meat to beef?
Last time i checked horse meat is one of those things only rich arseholes buy just to show they can afford it.
And now everyone flips out because they added expensive meat to cheap meat?
What the hell is happening here?

Yeah good point. It’s probably made out of retired circus animals.
Unlike you Americans we actually care about our food.
You can be sure that it is not “Good” horse meat. Probably from sick horses full with medications…
I have no clue but the fact that horse meat is illegal to eat in the U.S. due to the nation’s “Cowboy Culture”.
