ya know what? giant ponies could probably fuck up the world. the sphinx was enormous and could fly and it was fine, so derpy should be fine. applying physics to fictional creatures is like applying morals to porn: just don’t, it kills the fun. i should stop being fake smart.

The mere law of physics of our dimension probably won’t apply for magical ponies. Considering creatures like dragons and Roc exist and even fly in Equestria, gigantic creature probably has some sort of magic force to withstand their weight. She might crush our Earth with her powerful weight. We’re doomed either way.

That’s not what everyone here think about giant ponies. Not all of them believe that giant ponies would be friendly as they think they are. Some giant ponies, even if it isn’t an antagonist, can still be seen as an enemy to the real world, since that’s the usual way giants are. Point is, Derpy can still cause enough damage due to her size and that the price would be so high, she has to apologize later on.

actually, giant ponies would pose almost no threat due to the square cube law. kurzgesagt did a good video called The Size Of Life. basically, as a creature gets larger, the insides (and thus the weight) gets larger very fast. a giant horse or duck or whatever would experience their bones cracking under their own weight.
