For all we know, ‘wild’ dragons do experience greed growth. Or some of them do. It would explain why, say, that big red from first season was so much bigger than seeming adult dragons like Sludge.

Yup.

Makes me wonder how the dragons in the wild don’t experience Greed Growth.

In case of Spike, it made him grow while still wingless.

And all other dragons so far had wings.
