“With you out of the way… I will rule ALL of Equestria!”
King Sombra was perhaps among the most evil villains in My Little Pony, right along with Tirac from My Little Pony n’ Friends and Cosmos from the Friendship is Magic comics. And it was bad enough he desired to conquer the Crystal Empire and enslave all the Crystal Ponies. But after he was resurrected, he destroyed the Tree of Harmony and its Elements, and then decided to take over Equestria all together. Luckily for every pony, his only weakness was his overconfidence. Otherwise, he and his fellow villains would have succeeded. This tenebrous-hearted monster is gone for good.
As I mentioned sometime ago, Sombra has become one of my favorite villains. At first I didn’t think too much of him in his season 3 debut, though I was impressed by his design. However, after he made his final return with more personality and talking at least, he became one of my faves. Before I made his vector, I got started on this, particularly his crown since my full-body reference had at a smaller scale and I didn’t want to get anything wrong due to the weak resolution. Then, after almost a year, I decided to finish up with this. And let’s just say the reason for it because I plan on creating an OC with his design.
