You can’t deny he is a very good father though.

I dunno, in RPGs and sports games Bowser may seem like that, but in the main canon action Mario games, he’s still treated as an evil villain, and a legit threat. Especially, in the Galaxy games where he does more then try to kidnap the Princess, he tries to conquer the universe!  
He also seemed a bit cruel when he imprisoned the Sprixies in “3D World,” despite it’s more comical tone. And he tried to transform the Mushroom Kingdom into his own nightmare kingdom in NewSMBU/Deluxe.
 
Bowser IMO is in no way an “ally/friendly rival” of Mario.

Dedede feels kinda like Bowser. They both have become allies of the heroes, especially when there is greater evil present, but still do bad things sometimes.
 
Anime Dedede still has some redeeming qualities but compared to game Dedede yeah.

Granted, Dedede was pretty evil in some of the spinoffs, like in “Kirby Blowback Blast” where he becomes a giant final boss, and Kirby Pinball Land where he trapped everybody in a pinball game. Though, maybe he just wanted to play.
 
In the anime, he’s a flat-out jerk, though he’s kinder in the games.

This video forgot to put in the other characters I have as part of my imaginary crossover. Which are Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Shining Armor, Chrysalis, Sunset and Starlight.

I will forever say that King Dedede and Meta Knight are not villains. Dedede is just kind of naughty and stole food that one time. Meta Knight granted has a really weird reason (Dreamland is too lazy) but still has good intent. They are at least better than all the other villains listed.

We have Bowser Koopa, Ganondorf, Wario, Wolf O’Donnell, Ridley, Dark Samus, King Dedede, Meta Knight, King K. Rool, and now Sephiroth.
 
It’s nice SSB added more villain characters. (Though, debatable if Wario, Dedede, and Meta Knight count, as they’re all basically reformed anti-heroes now.)

He shall give Eqeustria dis pear, which is actually a good thing, especially for Applejack.

As someone who has played both FF7 and KH this is so true. Just the opening part of his song in this video made me want to curl up into a ball.
 
I hate you Sephiroth. I really do.

The one winged angel. Giving both final fantasy and kingdom hearts fans traumatic memories and Vietnam flash backs since the early 2000’s physically and with his music alone.
