“Queen Twilight” is the very END of the entire G4 timeline (barring “Pony Life”, which is an alternate universe). We are catching up to that once the IDW comics end, which I assume would be by the time the G5 TV show is properly launched (the upcoming theatrical movie is a pilot for the show).

Where can I find the upcoming Twilight Sparkle from “Last Problem”, “Queen” Twilight 2.0?

We only see the first sign of the upcoming Twilight 2.0 here. In a few years she will be the “queen” of “Last Problem” that we had become acquainted with, an alicorn princess who fills the horseshoes of Celestia in every way.

The Mane 6 are now adults at the peak of their lives, just as we saw with “Last Problem” which shows them at the end of their active lives as heroes of Equestria. They were young mares who in their twenties had experienced and explored their world, now they have settled down - and we see this in Pencils`s work.

You’re saying “manipulative” like it’s a good thing.

Yes, but here she has done nothing but play matchmaker - besides, it may be the first time we see such a subtle and motivated action from Twilight to manipulate the right circumstances to see if Pinkie will realize her feelings for Cheese, based on her observations and power in the capacity of being a princess. Very Celestia-like, and we know she was very good at manipulating other ponies in line with her observations and conclusions as seen with Cadence and Tempest Shadow. Tempest was aware that she had been manipulated into meeting her friend, and thanked Cadence for this.

“Manipulative” is not negatively meant where I come from, and it is very strongly present in Equestria where this could be seen many times, especially around Celestia and Cozy Glow. Twilight is now growing into her role as the alicorn responsible for the happiness of others in her monarchy, just like Celestia. All the queens in the Europe where I come from were known for cunning, ingenuity, capacity for manipulation and skill as rulers - and they were always held very high in comparison with most male rulers.

Equestria is a monarchy based on European culture conveyed by the writers to us. Of course, Twilight would manipulate events if she could help and bring happiness to others. It’s not wrong, it’s natural. Therefore, it is difficult to understand why someone did not take it well.

Twilight knows what’s up

She is definitely Celestia’s successor, she just needs time to become as foresighted and manipulative as her teacher. Is this something all alicorns have in common. For not only are they the leaders and protectors of the ponies, it has been shown time and time again that they are manipulative, insightful and very good at creating circumstances to get what they want, as when Celestia wanted to make Twilight her successor already when she was just a student at Canterlot.

We are now watching Twilight 2.0 for the first time, the princess / queen from the future when the show ended.

This is Season 10.
