He really puts a lot of thought into every little detail and it’s kind of adorable since you’ll probably never notice most of them.
On the other hand, this comic still pulls plot twists from things foreshadowed ten years ago.
I like EGS, but Dan really overanalyzes his own comic in the author rants at the end of each one.
Well, nothing will DIRECTLY result of it because nothing weird is ever going to happen between Spike and Rarity on the actual show.
But INdirectly, there is and always will be lots of weird fan content.
She even has the hair. How did I not think of this when the comic came out?
“Okay, clearly I know of ponies, and this comic references an actual character dynamic from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic involving a dragon who is in love with a unicorn. The dragon in question is actually smaller than the unicorn, however, because he’s a baby dragon! Wait, does that add up to it being more or less disturbing? Oh, whatever. It’s a kid’s show. Nothing truly disturbing will ever directly result from it.”
Not sure if that last sentence is serious..
