Yona the yak and Sandbar the pony stare into each other’s eyes, filled with pride of their friendship… and filled with a newfound love. Ever since the Amity Ball at the School of Friendship, these two best friends have developed a new burgeoning love for one another. Even though they are two different species and having different personalities, Sandbar and Yona were definitely meant for each other. I wanted to make this for some time, but I got discouraged with how the small the image was. Finally, I decided to push forward anyway. I just love making Yonabar vectors. These two interspecies besties turned lovers just warm my heart. Yona may grow into a big yak cow while stallion Sandbar will end up half the size of his very special some-yak, but love is unconditional. I’ll see if I do more Yonabar vectors.
