Taking advantage of April Fool (so it can be lost among the joke uploads) to post this dumb edit i made waaay back around the time where School Daze aired because for some unexplainable reason, Pinkie being “forced” by Twilight to teach very “by the book” lessons about laughter and fun forced my frog mind to do parallel with that famous skit by satirical puppet show “Les Guignols de L’Info” (https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2w0ew7) which i think is roughly about the same theme.For the context,this show was aired at the time by the channel Canal + which was known for its raunchy humor,this skit was made in reaction at the then director of programing Alain De Greef being summoned by the French FCC over this skit (among other) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vSxJCDo200) and was asked ,like point blank, and without irony “Can you explain why this skit is funny ?”.It resulted in the skit i posted above which satirized the incident where a frantic De Greef try to explain to the best of his ability to a group of stone-faced bureaucrats why a skit about a journalist being caught red handed screwing with a sheep was funny and to an extant this absurd question “Why is humor funny” ? To this day the word “Kulunmoton” (roughly “Fucking a sheep”) is still a known french meme used as a shorthand to signify that thing like humor cant be explained or boiled down as an academic formula
 
Hence this is why i dumbly MSPainted the formulas that were on the Guignols skit to this screencap of Pinkie Pie who roughly twenty years after DeGreef tried to explain to an incredulous audience the subtility of the art of comedy and i do realize the irony of me writing this wall of text to explain this joke and why i was dumbly laughing at myself when the episode aired imagining Pinkie Pie quoting Les Guignols “Ah mais si mais si obligé c’est marrant brony fandom, toyline historically for girls ,memes and Internet,huge Internet influence, Derpy Hooves wall-eyed mare ,cupcakes ,Steven Magnet periphery audience et à la fin uuuuuh enculunmouton ?”
