In case you’re wondering, no, I don’t hate Sunburst, despite the fact that I keep killing him off in most drawings that reference him. I just find the idea of his death and Starlight coping with it to be a rather heartwarming and yet twisted idea.Also I could totally see Starlight doing something like this.

I haven’t finished watching the last season, but if what your saying is true, I dont think I want to.
That’s just the result of bad writing.
Not to mention the Mane 6 haven’t changed as of the last season. So before criticizing another character about it, look at the Mane characters first, who never learn their lessons.
You do know half the Mane 6, at least, would do the same thing, if not worse.
May I point out example one: Pinkie and the Mirror Pool
Example 2: Twilight and the Want it, Need it spell.
Example 3: Rainbow and wrecking the Weather factory and her prank episode where she committed bodily harm, with glee.
At least Starlight has restraint.
