It seems to be part time. Considering that RD spends most of her time napping and playing by the pool and other things that are decidedly not working, it’s doesn’t seem like full time employment. But if it is, it has ludicrous benefits, because she gets to fly around doing what she loves, until she gets tired and sleeps for the rest of the day.

Yeah. The show is mantaining the precious status quo. Just look at Twilight.
Unless it’ll forever be as it is now woth only Twilight and her family moving forward in live but I doubt since she’s already a WB trainee and it would be pretty fucking bad if you’d leave a huge game-changing events to one character, neglecting others with smaller (but arguably better established) goals.
