“My Night Empress,I’m afraid we have discussed many times why “Killing them” would be an inefficient and sub-optimal course of action. Now I believe next on the schedule was discussing the finer details of the “material liberation” operation we have ongoing in Las Pegeasus.”
She’s also the only cabinet member shown in the picture. What if the ‘cabinet’ is just her, and she holds all the posts, save the ones she chooses to delegate?
the other members are there, i just couldn’t be bothered to draw them :catjam:
Selenite just prefers the velvet glove to the iron fist because she thinks it’s more effective.
I just have a hard time believing that a ‘maximum vengeance’ Nightmare Moon would even allow any velvet-glovers in her court in the first place.
Minister of Defence, but because of how militarised and stratocratic Lunar Imperial society is she’s basically the most powerful pony in the government aside from the literal monarch.
I mean–I see. You would think that a pony with an interest in civilian issues like healthcare reform and labor relations would be assigned to a more civilian-type post. Although if the Empire is super-militarized, I suppose the Defense Minister would essentially be a de facto Prime Minister who oversees everything.

BORDERS MUST LOOK PRETTY
MY borders must look pretty. Long tentacles look better than sticking enclaves wherever I need something built. It was a choice between making a kraken or swiss cheese.
Morally it’s neither, Selenite just prefers the velvet glove to the iron fist because she thinks it’s more effective.
What post does Selenite have in the cabinet, anyway?

In my Lunar Empire game, I probably annexed three times as much land as that map shows. If it had valuable resources, if I thought it would make a good military base, or if I wanted to build a highway there, I just took it. The ‘border porn’ in Olenia and the Changeling lands was absolutely insane.
This must be the ‘nice’ or ‘neutral’ path.

“You’ll end your career scrubbing toilets with a toothbrush if you keep talking like that!”
“Because if we keep killing ponies, it’ll either lead to a terribly motivated workforce giving us inferior products, OR we’ll run out of warm bodies to do the work at all and have to perform the menial labor ourselves. I don’t know about you, Your Highness, but I’d rather not end my career scrubbing toilets.”
You don’t scrubb toilets! You LICK them Clean!!!!!!
