If you noticed the details of My Little Pony G5, they detailed it with real hair, gold, and others. Sorry if you can dislike my comment, that i don’t like Filly Funtasia, that’s because i like the much more longest running pony cartoon franchise, similar to Doctor Who. Which the “Doctor Who franchise” is the longest running sci-fi series because of the number of audiences who have an interest to watch more of the newest episodes. Just like the people said: No one beats the original.

I think in some aspects yes, and that is not a bad thing. It is not a new concept to borrow ideas from your rivals. The character designs really improved because of it, though the coloring is a bit same-y and the naming scheme I really don’t care about. But I love that the character designs are becoming more complex and have additional special accessories.

G5 definitely____ copied Filly Funtasia. There’s not even the slightest doubt in my mind that this is the case. However, as abysmal as the G5 3DCG art is, it still completely shits on Filly Funtasia’s low effort execution. Sometimes execution of an idea is more important that the actual conceptualization.
 
Heck, G4 in and of itself was a bad concept executed immaculately. FiM was essentially a MLP revival with low-budget Flash animation and neo-feminist undertones. What could possibly go wrong with such a “compelling” concept? If you ask me, it’s an utter miracle that G4 turned out as good as it did. Here’s hoping the same thing happens to G5~
