Cosmic Reset
And so - the stars were no more. And with them, so was all the evil that had been done to reality.
And We return to the day when it all began.
…
Fluttershy ever so slightly opened her eyes. Even that was a monumental effort. Her head was hurting. Her body was hurting. Everything was sore and tender. Her legs felt like spaghetti, and her head like mush.
Not exactly in pain. But exhausted. Drained and Spent.
The world was spinning. She tried to remember where she was. How she got here.
… Remember …
What day was it even?
The answers were as slow and aching, as everything else.
It was the day when it all began.
When was that again? It would be the day after yesterday. That seemed to make sense.
… Sense …
Why did the word seam almost alien to her?
She felt like she had just woken up from a horrible dream, or more like a nightmare, worse than any other. At least. That’s what she really wished it was. And somewhere in the back of her mind. She knew that was true.
It was all just a dream now, a thing that might as well never have happened at all. For in a way. It hadn’t.
That though filled her with comfort.
…Wish…
She remembered she wished the world would go back to normal. To be like this wonderful memory of hers.Where everyone was standing around, on an open field, looking like they too wished it was all a dream.
And in a way. They were right. She knew they were. Twough her head swam to much for her to comprehend why, or how she knew. She knew that this was real now, and that the other thing wasnt.
It filled her little aching soul with joy when the blurry world slowly swam into focus, as she realized she wasnt seing the world through her third eye anymore. Her third eye had closed so hard it had ceased to exist. As had all of her powers. Powers she posessed before it all began.
Wasnt that what she had wanted? For things to go back to normal? And they had – She had – Back to what she had been, even before she through Discord gained a taste of that chaos power.
She was just a pegasus again. Just a little pony.
She had gotten her wish. Hadn’t she?
Maybe she had snapped back a little to hard?
She wasn’t sure what that meant. It was teedering on the brink of her mind.
To comprehend it would require the opening of a second pair of eyes. Eyes that she did not have the strength to open. It was like a muscle burned out from overuse. Just like her mind. A mind that did not want to comprehend anything. A mind that was tired of comprehending Everything.
… Everything…
… And just wanted to do nothing for a change.
Nothing but rest…
She barely had the strength to comprehend where she was. Thinking hurt. - Like everything else.
She felt burned out. Exhausted. Spent. Dried upp, Hollwed out and She felt thin, sort of like butter scraped over too much bread.
And above all else she felt like a rubber band that had finally been allowed to go slack.
She felt like she had been stretched beyond the confines of reality - stretched to cover all of existence - Like every cell of her being had been stretched so thin that it has become transparent – translucent – nonexistent. Stretched until she must have broken without breaking.
No wonder she was tired. She had had enough of Everything. She just wanted to do nothing for a while.

I know what that is; it’s called ‘fanfiction’. And, again, using impactful terms like ‘divisive storytelling’ doesn’t work when you start off with something that was basically an excerpt from a crackfic. Especially given how things stand in the comic we’re commenting on right now. The fact that you didn’t tell me anything like this earlier tells me you’re pulling these reasons out of your ass and that I have even less reasons to see where you’re coming from. I’m sorry. We’re simply not going to see eye-to-eye on this, and I’m sure that, like me, you have better things to do with your life, so let’s just drop this topic alright? I honestly don’t enjoy having debates about characters I couldn’t give less of a damn about, such as Cozy Glow. If she’s portrayed as a psychotic little kid then that’s what she is to me. It’s as simple as that. So, enough, alright?

It’s part of the so-called charm of divisive storytelling that is all the rage in 2016 and 2017. The kind of sick thrills that only someone following a demented self-defeating logic: where the idea was to subvert all of the stories’ own potential and expectations in a major way that it ends up turning half of the audience against the other half because of a decision within the setting that the creators had condoned thinking that it was a good idea at the time.
For Star Wars Fans that was with what they call “Movie 8” or “The Last Straw” by the creator of that ideology: Rian Johnson.
For MLP Fans it originally was with Alicorn Twilight in Season 3: which had the misfortune of being a short-lived season only half the length of the previous seasons, had little-to-no buildup to her Ascendancy, no explanations behind the rationale, and production for Season 3 being halted because Hasbro wanted to push their “My Little Barbie Monster High” line and made a full-commercial movie for it that took place immediately after Season 3 and didn’t try to ease us into the whole Alicorn Twilight better by shoving Twilight into the Human World and spending too much time there and not as an Alicorn. If anything; the 2017 My Little Pony Movie should have been the follow-up to Magical Mystery Cure since IT deals with Twilight having to struggle with the role of leadership as Equestrias’ Princess that she was put into by Princess Celestia.
Nowadays, MLP Fans are having arguments about the treatment of the characters in Seasons 8 & 9 along with how much the characters seemingly regressed in all of their character growth in order to give us an extremely flawed final battle to try and invoke the ending of Avengers Endgame and introducing to us a character that has divided fans based on what she did and how she was intentionally made by Jim Miller to divide the fans thinking that we would simply agree that there is a sociopathic child that cannot be redeemed at all, despite the fact that as I had already explained earlier: there were characters that did just as many bad things as she has if not even more (seriously, Starlight Glimmer has the single-largest theoretical body-count in the series with her time-travel shenanigans not only creating alternate timelines from her actions; but also in possibly erasing them which killed off all of the innocent beings that had inhabited those timelines that were caught up in the petty grievances of Starlights’ actions) If you are going to send a literal child to hell while someone like Starlight Glimmer or Discord are allowed to get away scot-free after all the shit that they pulled, than you have to either give us a meaningful backstory for why that is and to hold all of the other villains that Twilight faced off against to the same treatment being given to Cozy.

I already have. You keep saying ‘might have, might have, might have’… I don’t listen to ‘might have’. If you haven’t noticed, Cozy Glow’s cutie mark is a chess piece. That means that manipulating others is her bread and butter. With that in mind, her belief that ‘Friendship is Power’ isn’t as much of a ‘silly excuse’ as you think. Twilight didn’t know Cozy Glow was a problem until it was too late. In that clip you showed me, Twilight had tried to reach out to her. That ‘tensing up’ thing you said she did, before lashing out at Twilight? That was her cringing at how, from her perspective, Twilight just didn’t seem to get it. Nice trick, by the way, showing me a clip without sound, in an attempt to take things out of context. I can’t believe you think that the fact she only attempted the cessation of all magic in Equestria didn’t mean severe punishment was necessary. How close she came to not only succeeding, but framing the Young Six for what she was doing, if not for the Tree of Harmony’s intervention… Also, your little theory about how Cozy was influenced into becoming the psychotic little filly she was? Already figured out. Who was it she was said to be penpals with, before being sent to Tartarus? Who was it she stuck close to while Discord was masquerading as Grogar? Tirek. and even if that’s not enough for you as far as her past is concerned, it’s too late now anyway; MLP G4 is over. All we got and are going to get from those who created Cozy Glow as a character in the first place was her status as a villain and her (apparent) reasons for being as such. Besides, it’s not unheard of for a child to seem cute and innocent, only to turn out a total sociopath or worse.
Look, if you want there to be a story where Cozy Glow ends up this heroic alicorn, go write a fimfiction about it. I for one would have been more willing to listen to you if you hadn’t started off with these exaggerated, over-hyped scenarios. I am more than well aware that I should have said this earlier, but without the power of the magic contained in Grogar’s bell, Cozy Glow has no more real power than any other pegasus filly her age; when it comes to flight, she might not have been a ‘Scootaloo the 2nd’, but she was no ‘Rainbow Dash Jr.’ either. Her only real talent, as previously stated, lay in the emotional manipulation of others. That wasn’t going to help her restore her own existence.
and yet, I do not see you trying to refute my points in-regards to how exactly “evil” Cozy truly can be if we do not know anything about her past to justify any of her actions taken. At least when “Grogar” had recruited her she was under the ever-present threat of death to follow his orders or face the consequences, then when we find out that Grogar was actually Discord all along, she might have thought that at that moment she was too far into the rabbit hole in that the entirety of the Equestrian Government was conspiring against her; arranging her to become the villain of the piece at all costs. In that respect, Cozy was a tragic villain, the fact that Twilight never bothered to reach out to her; having considered her top student at the School of Friendship to be a lost cause when she had already reformed so many other villains in the past that had did more substantial and direct damage just added fuel to the fire.

in a show that has already in the past done away with true villains and had redeemed bad guys who were all guilty for doing more severe crimes:
Nightmare Moon: Treason, Attempted Regicide, Destruction of Private Property.
Trixie: Contractual Fraud, Enslavement, Unlawful Imprisonment, Theft, Damage to Public Property.
Flim & Flam: Contractual Fraud, False Advertising, Illegal Gambling, Plagiarism, Damage to Private Property.
Queen Chrysalis: Attempted Regicide, Promoting Racism, Coercion, Casus Belli, Enslavement, Unlawful Imprisonment, Impersonation, Damage to Public Property, Damage to Private Property.
King Sombra: Theft, Confirmed Regicide, Coercion, Casus Belli, Enslavement, Unlawful Imprisonment, Treason, Damage to Public Property, Damage to Private Property.
Sunset Shimmer: Enslavement, Treason, Theft, Attempted Regicide, Damage to Public Property.
Tirek: Attempted Regicide, Enslavement, Theft, Unlawful Imprisonment, Damage to Public Property, Damage to Private Property.

And the thing is, aside from Tirek, Sombra, and Chrysalis; none of these aforementioned ponies had received more than a slap-on-the-wrist for it and are celebrated by the wider public afterwards. I think that the attempted cessation of all Magic is too low of a crime in that regards of a sentencing to Tartarus, followed shortly thereafter by Discords’ own circumvention of the law to break her out of prison, masquerading as Grogar, and coercing a minor into going along with his own plans of treason under the threat of death constantly looming over her head at every moment. Sure Cozy Glow is indeed guilty of Treason and Unlawful Imprisonment, but that’s as far as the lengths of her crimes while working on her own and not as an accomplice to Tirek or as an unwilling accomplice to Discord. Which reminds me…
Discord: Contractual Fraud, Illegal Gambling, Attempted Murder, Attempted Regicide, Impersonation, Treason, Theft, Enslavement, Coercion, Prisonbreak, Promoting Racism, Circumventing Due Process of Law, Unlawful Imprisonment, Damage to Public Property, and Damage to Private Property.
If you are going to hold Cozy Glow as being more evil than the likes of the aforementioned criminals I have already listed, than you should try to pick your battles more carefully and to consider the actions and outcomes of others by-comparison.
Beyond the times that they had broke the law, we all had one thing in common: there was a clear and concise motive to each of their actions, something that we do NOT have for why Cozy Glow seemed to be motivated into committing Treason and Unlawful Imprisonment in the first place. And do not throw me that weak excuse she made back in School Raze, if you notice when Cozy was asked by Twilight Sparkle, for a brief moment she had tensed up before lashing out at Twilight.
Taken by itself, it could mean a number of things; among which might be she was angry at Twilight. But a part of me thinks that there was more to it than that alone… that she was somehow PREVENTED from telling Twilight the truth, that she might have a Geas placed on her that everypony is unaware of… Cozy Glow might be an unwitting pawn in someone else’s game, and that there is something out there that can cause even more damage to Equestria the longer it remains on the loose.

Scootaloo: Uses Phoenix Down on Cozy Glow
Cozy Glow: “Reports of my death were bull-crap!” Proceeds to Home Run Cosmos into space that the Spirit of Malice gets removed from existence altogether. “WHOOO! THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKIN’ ABOUT!”
And then, she crashes aganist an asteroid when she tries to enter to the earth and dies, that’s always her destiny, suffer many cruel fates despiste she is a kid.
yet, Fluttershy reset the universe to undo all of Cosmos’ effects that she did to reality; meaning that if we were to somehow… Hears ACDC’s Shoot to Thrill playing faintly as an angry Cozy Glow comes zooming back into reality with all of the thaumaturgical kinetic force that Cosmos had flicked her off with as she comes looping back through the multiversal plane to re-enter the reality she had once existed in once more; the lingering essences of the Stars that had bound Cosmos serving as the only method preventing Cozy from being able to return. The young fillies eyes were burning with hatred and anger at being possibly unmade on a quantum level as she smiles sadistically and aims her descent to slam right into Cosmos as she tries to slink away …Ah. There she is!
Her being transformed into an Alicorn as she regains corporeality, or her unintentionally becoming a hero for dealing a finisher to Cosmos on re-entry?
I’d hate that so much.
either that, or she’s part of a punchline at the end where Cosmos gets a second-wind and is about to do it all again somehow, only for a now re-existant Cozy Glow to come zooming back into reality; having used the terminal velocity to somehow Ascend into Alicornhood, hooves at the ready and determination set in her face as the young filly delivers the mother of all blazing kicks directly into Cosmos’ face and is praised as a hero for this action.
