He did look more natural during the growing stages than he did after it was finished.

I actually like Spike’s greed form and I think it’d make a plausible normal spike if his features were less jagged overall. I softened the edges on him quite a bit.  
As I understood in the episode Spike’s greed accelerated his growth. The reason he looked a little funky was probably because his body was developing too fast for its own good. The earlier stages did look much more natural than the later ones. Likely because his body had more time to adapt to the changes in those stages.

Wait, Im confused Queen Cold.  
Isn’t this Jade’s normal grown form? then why is Spike on his greed grown form?  
C’mon QC, Im sure you can think of a good look for a normal grown Spike.
