You have NEVER overstepped any boundaries of the Ms Fanservice trope, outside of a couple butt shots. You are doing a great job, and I greatly look forward to whatever you do in the future.
And I love jungle girls too. They are easily one of the best character types ever. Beautiful and powerful, it doesn’t get much better than that.
It just screams “jungle girl” or “nature girl” which has always been a very special flavor for me.
Forgive me if I’ve overstepped any boundaries of the “Ms. Fanservice” trope, but admittedly, I’m just as fascinated with the whole “jungle girl” story concept, about a girl, who either crash-landed, got lost, or was raised by animals, far from human civilization, and had to rely on her wits and survival skills to overcome the perils that threaten to kill her (all the while, looking good, doing it, I might add…)
Oh it looks like I commented on this before but I really need to do a more in-depth critique on this. This is actually my favorite fanart that you’ve ever done so far. Trixie may be very beautiful, but I think the Hu-Mane 7 are a bit lovelier because they’re good girls. Fluttershy’s my fave, but Pinkie Pie is #2. Her cheeriness makes her extra adorable, but even that level of cheerful has its limits as we can see here. You not only captured her beauty, but also her plight. This is an epic shot that I like to think is her initial reaction to her dreamkini. I came up with the image of her frolicking through the clouds in a flower dreamkini, then she falls into them and all the flowers making up her dreamkini pop up leaving her blushing at the thought of what that means for her state of dress. Trixie shows up and says that a flower dreamkini is too good for her then pulls out a hammer and knocks her down right out of the clouds. As she is falling she is completely covered by clouds but they start to dissipate until she is wearing what looks like a cloud dreamkini. “Is this my new bikini? It’s not so bad.” Then they dissolve to reveal her brocolli dreamkini and she screams as Trixie says the line in the description. And finally let me tell you that dreamkini looks amazing! As much as I love flower ones I also love green leafy/plant/vegetable dreamkinis a lot as well. It just screams “jungle girl” or “nature girl” which has always been a very special flavor for me. I just wish we could see her belly button, but everything else about this is so good ’tis but the tiniest quibble not really worth complaining about. Just please keep in mind I love seeing the navel for every female character in a dreamkini.
But it’s not just the quality of the picture itself that makes it so good, but the ideas it brings to the table. I had never even considered doing a follow-up to Trixie’s Big Snooze, but this picture alone motivated me to do so. I came up with a story where we see that a dream demon feasted upon Trixie’s nightmares and is hungry for more. A side effect of that spell is that the person who invades another person’s dreams will have to pay by running the risk of attracting a monster like that and having it affect any sleep for the next 24 hours after waking up. It tries to give Pinkie Pie nightmares including putting her in a pink flower bikini but it backfires as she loves it. After humiliating the beast it decides to get more power by partnering up with Trixie as it’s more powerful when it has a host. Trixie thinking that it’s just her imagination accepts its offer, leading to her putting Pinkie Pie into a broccoli dreamkini. She gets so drunk on power that she goes after the other Hu-Mane 7 as well. Eventually the demon grows so strong it turns on her and throws her into the dreamkini nightmares as well. Now Trixie has to team up with the others to take the fiend down. Trixie turns out to be instrumental in defeating it, and right before it falls it curses Trixie to dream nightmares right when they’ll affect her the most, leading to Twilight sending Starlight Glimmer into her dreams to help her. Is that a nice way of tying this together with the other story we’ve talked about?
It’s more than good enough, it’s awesome! Thanks for giving me some inspiration to do a sequel to Trixie’s Big Snooze. Pinkie looks adorable and sexy in a leaf bikini.
Agreed! Poor Pinkie, but she does look beautiful. Truly today is a great day, for I’ve found a new subject for fanart in this.
It’s okay.
But it’s not okay, for Pinkie Pie. That’s what she gets for skipping her vegetables. LOL
Alright, I’ll fix it. Sorry, her bottoms looked pretty leafy to me.
Uh…truth be told. That’s not a “leaf bikini.” On LPS, Season 4 episode 11, it’s dubbed a “brokini.”
