@Ciaran
That…seems a lot like a form a lawyer would write up. I wonder if you have experience in law, and that is the reason why you are a mod here.
Regardless, it is nice to know that there can be an exception made for this particular image, since I do really like Ambris as an artist. Hopefully that means we can see some more images from him in the future on this site, despite him not really having much of an interest in MLP as a series.
In response to requests that we delete this image, OC:Erika has images on the site going back as far as 2019 in her ‘SharkPony’ or ‘PonyShark’ form, and we tend to permit (or, if you prefer, ‘grandfather in’) these kinds of OCs that have a history on the site.
If you have concerns about this, or feel this should change, you are welcome and encouraged to use the Site & Policy forum to discuss how you would prefer to see these kinds of images handled.
Yes, I think it looks amazing, as well. I was only questioning how appropriate it was for a pony-related site. If that ‘pony-shark’ loophole can be used, however, then I am all for that!
I want to make clear, guys that I understand what you mean. Before uploading this I was thoughtful if this would fit here since I’ve already seen Erika here but not very commonly, and in the comment section debating about the same subject,but still there and tagged as “pony shark” despite of all.
In any case, if there is inconvenient because of this, I can ask for a admin for delete this and go to upload it somewhere else like FurryBooru or even Affinity.
Wait. This isn’t pony. @Eric Draven
Yeah, but even all these other pictures of her are anthro, and none show any actual, discernible pony characteristics or any reference to mlp whatsoever.
Which is actually incredibly common with “original species” ocs. But not even the artist describes her as a “shark pony” anywhere.
@Enmity1498
Yeah, I’m reasonably certain Erika isn’t a shark pony at all, just an shark anthro. There are a few other images of her on this site, but they’re by a different artist, so they could be interpreted differently.
I always thought that Erika was more ‘furry’ than ‘pony’, as it is the artist’s fursona (they mentioned that themselves). So knowing that, it is strange to find it here on Derpi. Yes, I know it is a shark-pony (ehich we don’t see often here), but other than that it has never really been related to MLP. Now, I still do love this picture, and I love Ambris as an artist. I am just confused at wether this is MLP-related or not outside of the shark-pony species.
Probably the artist mate
Eyup! :3
