Gilda’s last appearence has her call Twilight and the other non-Rainbow Dash members of the Mane Six dweebs, then fly off after RD made it clear she wasn’t going to stand for Gilda treating the other members of the Mane Six like garbage. Girl’s pretty much one of the least sympathetic antagonists in the show so far outside of the season opener and endings. And the synopsis didn’t go into detail what Trixie what was doing with Twilight, so it’s posssible that she isn’t actively malicious towards Twilight in the book and could see Twilight as a means to accomplish a goal or gain something.

I’ll bet Spike has a pretty cool pad at the castle for when he visits. He is technically a prince (and has been since episode one) after all. Twilight quarters at the castle are probably reserved for when she goes on extended visits to Canterlot.

Sound good, It show that Twilight stay in poniville but have to say no to canterlot and possibily do a lot of effort to deal with poniville folks about that but I can hardly believe Trixie could be involved in another corrupted necklace event unless there is some kind of twist at the end and Cadance don’t have any justification to rule over the crystal empire unless she is just Celestia’s representant there.

I asked in the comments about Trixie. That seems a bit odd to me.

Skeptical. The bit about Trixie and Gilda seems especially unlikely, since Magic Duel redeemed Trixie, and Gilda would have no reason to be antagonistic toward Twilight.
