as someone from Texas I can say that most (not all) people I come across who fly the confederate flag demonstrate their southern pride by glorifying the confederacy. They’re like Weraboos for the south and it gets really bad sometimes.
It’s pretty normal to live in the South and see people flying Confederate flags from their house or car. The current Georgia flag is the Confederate flag too. Pride in Southern heritage is completely normal. It isn’t about being racist.
Kinda scary that only “lefties” can hate Confederates
