So bit of context for this one: I’m in charge of updating the clothing porting tutorial for NexGen. Naturally, this meant that I had to port lots of clothes in order to create screenshots for the tutorial. While working on this dress and the preview picture that went along with it, I realized what day it was and decided to seize the opportunity by making an Independence Day-themed texture for the dress and a poster.
 
Thing is, this poster wasn’t originally supposed to be themed after Independence Day. It was originally made just to showcase the dress to those who wanted to download it. There’s a version of this picture without the American flags in my computer, where Lacuna (you remember her, right?) is wearing the dress with just a plain solid color. But given that I didn’t have enough time to create a completely custom poster, I had to make do with what I had.
 
Originally, I just uploaded a quick and dirty 720p version of this picture in some Discord servers. After all, it was just a side project to my main one—the updated NexGen clothing porting tutorial. But the Discord peeps liked what I had to offer and inspired me to refine the picture for publishing in the interwebs, scaling up to 4k resolution and fixing the lighting.
 
I know this poster is rather late for some of you Americans, and I myself am not American. Regardless, hopefully you guys had a happy Fourth of July!
