Problems with OP’s favourite ponies:  
  • AJ… nothing really wrong with her, but she’s kind of boring (she’s in my top 2 faves)  
  • RD is an arrogant uncaring bitch  
  • Twilight was a Mary Sue. Now she’s a God Mode Sue.

I kinda agree with you op, but then again the title of best pony is something that’s never going to be concurred because the “best pony” is chosen in an own personal and individual level (sorry for the redundancy but i wanted to make it clear) therefore it’s never going to be a fact.
